FAQ
Do I have to be a Christian to apply to SHC?
Yes. Our mission is to partner with parents to prepare the next generation to impact the world for Christ. To support this mission, we require that applicant families align with our Statement of Faith and are intentionally pursuing Christ in their families. Families are expected to be active members of their church community. Generally, both parents are expected to be Christians, although in some cases we may consider enrollment if one parent is a Christian.​

What is the age requirement for admission into Kindergarten?

To enroll in our kindergarten program, students must be five years old by September 1st of the school year they wish to attend.

I applied for a previous year and was put on a waitlist, do I need to reapply?

Yes, for students not currently enrolled, a new application is required each year. Applications cannot be rolled over to a future school year.
If your student is not currently enrolled in SHC and you wish to be considered for enrollment, please submit a new application for the upcoming school year.
Please note: SHC remains heavily impacted and repeat applications do not guarantee enrollment.
How many spots are available for the next school year and in what grade(s)?
Current students must re-enroll by mid-February. Once re-enrollment is complete we will know how many spots are available fornew students. With high re-enrollment rates each year, space is limited, so applying early gives you the best chance.
What is my position in the wait pool?
SHC does not disclose student-specific waitlist numbers. The wait pool is primarily organized by application date. However, other factors can impact enrollment offers, such as giving priority to siblings of current SHC students and children of SHC staff members.

Spring Hills Christian is a K-12 school.

Does SHC offer preschool?

Spring Hills does not offer a preschool program

Does SHC offer before school or after school care?
​
Spring Hills does not offer before or after care. Drop off is available at 8:00am and students must be picked up promptly after class is dismissed at 2:45pm.
